Hong Kong is subtropical, so the five star hotel had no heat; the attendant brought me an electric radiator that looked just like
the ones in the old Portland house where I grew up. So we ate (high tea at the Peninsula Hotel, dim sum at a floating restaurant,
a continental buffet on a dinner cruise, Italian and Thai food at local restaurants, "American" at the Hard Rock Cafe), enjoyed a
Chinese massage, and shopped (!) - taking advantage of "free" shipping from the Navy Pier.
